This month’s theme was all about me. We talked about ourselves, families, friends and our feelings. We went over sight words as well as letters, shapes, numbers and colors. We learned that it is ok to express our feelings and talk about how we feel. Our letter this month was “Ff”. We had a great time visiting MOSH and creating Friendship salads. We are looking forward to another month of learning.

Safety Tips for a Happy Halloween!
What could be more fun than dressing up and trick-or-treating? Doing it safely, that’s what!
Here are some tips to help you keep your little one safe and happy this Halloween!
- Use hypoallergenic, non-toxic paint or makeup instead of masks.
- Avoid oversized costumes and shoes that could trip your child.
- Attach reflective tape to costumes or candy bags to make children more visible to drivers.
- Always walk on sidewalks or paths and choose direct routes with few street crossings.
- Children under 12 should always trick-or-treat with an adult.
- Children over 12 should trick-or-treat in groups with a flashlight and cell phone if not accompanied by an adult.
