Classroom News

Butterfly/Infant:
The “butterflies” had so much fun learning about spring. The infants enjoyed the Earth Day celebration. The babies enjoyed creating hats for Earth Day. They also celebrated by learning songs, stories, colors, and each week’s new letter. This month we continue to introduce new colors and letters while working on hand-eye coordination. The infants participated in Tummy-time and rides in the Bye-Bye Buggy on nice spring days. We cannot wait for all the fun activities to come in May.

We were a busy group this month with all of the hands on projects for Earth day. We made our own Earth Day T-shirts to wear for the special day. There were lots of games and activities. We spent time talking about bugs and we learned some really cool stuff about growing gardens and what lives in a pond. We are looking forward to another month filled with fun activities.

This month was so exciting. We did a lot with the kids. We celebrated spring by making flowers and talking about the life cycle of flowers. Earth day was a day full of fun activities and games that helped us learn about how to keep the earth clean. We also had our 3rd Grading period Awards Ceremony, which was great! We are excited and ready to see what fun the next month will hold for us.
