Butterfly Infant

The “butterflies” had so much fun learning about spring. The infants enjoyed the Earth Day celebration. The babies enjoyed creating hats for Earth Day. They also celebrated by learning songs, stories, colors, and each week’s new letter. This month we continue to introduce new colors and letters while working on hand-eye coordination. The infants participated in Tummytime and rides in the Bye-Bye Buggy on nice spring days. We cannot wait for all the fun activities to come in May.

We were a busy group this month with all of the hands on projects for Earth day. We made our own Earth Day Tshirts to wear for the special day. There were lots of games and activities. We spent time talking about bugs and we learned some really cool stuff about growing gardens and what lives in a pond. We are looking forward to another month filled with fun activities.

Water Safety!

This month’s theme is Water, Water Everywhere. We’ll all be spending a lot of time playing in or around water, trying to keep cool this summer!

Here are 5 tips to help you keep your little one safe around the water!

  1. Children under five should be kept within arms reach.
  2. Avoid distractions.
  3. Install fences around pools.
  4. Teach your children water safety rules.
  5. Children over one may benefit from swimming lessons.
