May Happenings at Parks’ Place

Butterfly Infant

Butterfly/Infant:

The “butterflies” had so much fun learning about spring. The infants enjoyed the Earth Day celebration. The babies enjoyed creating hats for Earth Day. They also celebrated by learning songs, stories, colors, and each week’s new letter. This month we continue to introduce new colors and letters while working on hand-eye coordination. The infants participated in Tummy-time and rides in the Bye-Bye Buggy on nice spring days. We cannot wait for all the fun activities to come in May.

This month we started off with Transportation Week! We had our Easter Egg Hunt and Good Friday and had lots of fun. We also Stepped into Spring and learned about flowers, bugs, and the weather! Earth day was a big celebration that we enjoyed since we had different stations like face painting, sensory, planting, and bubbles! We loved April and we can’t wait to see what May will bring.

The VPK Awards Ceremony was showers of academic improvement that we celebrated this month. We salute our grandparents and all our volunteers who gave their heart unselfishly to help through the school year.
