The infant room has had a wonderful month of learning. The children have had a great time learning about farms and healthy harvests. We always love listening to and learning new songs about colors and letters. As the weather has changed and the sun is not as hot the children have explored the great outdoors. We ended the month with our Thanksgiving Feast.
A recap of things we did this month. We begin with time change and Fall weather and turning in homework every Friday. Our first theme was Apples Pumpkins. We made an Apples Pumpkins collage. On to Fun on the Farm, we honored Veterans for Veterans’ Day and also made a barn and put a horse inside. For Thanksgiving, we had a big feast with a play put on by VPK A & C. We learned about November month’s colors which were orange, green, yellow, and brown. We were out for Thanksgiving week which we enjoyed with our friends and family. Thank you to all the parents that donated food to our Food Drive. We are very excited for what December has to offer and to we will learn in the future.
VPK A and C have had an outstanding month. They have enjoyed learning about lots of animals and life on the farm. Throughout the month of November both classes have continued to learn and recognize shapes, letters and numbers. We talked about things we are thankful for. We ended the month with our Thanksgiving Feast. It was awesome to sit with all the people we love at school and eat. Sadly, parents weren’t able to join us this year, but we made sure to include them in every way we could by creating Zoom calls and sending home things students made for them. Earlier this month VPK A and C had their Award Ceremony and parents were able to join us through Zoom! We had a great turn out and each and every student received awards. They were all excited to have their achievements recognized. We saluted and paid tribute to our veterans. Later in the month, we were able to enjoy a play put on by both classes that parents and students enjoyed thoroughly. Although parents weren’t able to join us in person, they did join us on Zoom. Thank you to all parents that joined.

This month we started off by getting into fall with trees and leaves. We painted them and colored them, we got the chance to paint with fall colors to decorate our classroom and halls. We hung them up for all to see. We had a lot of fun with Thanksgiving. We learned about squirrels and acorns. We decorated some turkeys and they were hung up in the classroom for everyone to see. This month we also learned about apples and pumpkins. Our fall festival was great fun! Although parents weren’t able to come in and join us for the feast, we had a lot of fun enjoying the festival with our friends.
November was a very exciting month for Pre K. We loved learning about all the animals. For Thanksgiving, the threes made turkey hats They learned about Thanksgiving and they went to a Thanksgiving play. They also colored and made turkeys. They children really enjoyed learning about the holiday and having lots of thanksgiving food on our Feast. Thank you to all parents who donated food for our food drive and everyone who supported the daycare with donations.
