Butterfly Infant

Butterfly/Infant:

The infant room has had a wonderful month of learning. The children have had a great time learning about farms and healthy harvests. We always love listening to and learning new songs about colors and letters. As the weather has changed and the sun is not as hot the children have explored the great outdoors. We ended the month with our Thanksgiving Feast. A special THANK YOU goes out to all of the parents who attended. You are great!

Grasshopper Twos

Grasshopper/Twos

November was an exciting month for the Grasshopper class. We learned about farms, healthy foods and being thankful. We were extra thrilled about farm week.  Our favorite animal was the cow that says, “moooo.” We also learned about healthy foods like carrots, potatoes, corn, peas and how they help our bodies. We also talked about unhealthy foods. The Grasshoppers enjoyed making hats with feathers, turkey bags and placemats. We want to thank all of our Grasshopper parents for joining us for our Thanksgiving Feast. We enjoyed a lot of healthy foods that tasted great! We are looking forward to the activities that are planned for next month.

Busy Bees/Ones

This month we started off by getting into fall with trees and leaves. We painted them and colored them, we got the chance to paint with fall colors to decorate our classroom and halls. We hung them up for all to see. We had a lot of fun with safety. We practiced Stop, Drop and Roll. We learned about squirrels and acorns. We painted squirrels and decorated acorns with tissue paper. We even found some acorns outside and we had fun counting them and talked about their texture. This month we also learned about apples and pumpkins. Our fall festival was great fun! Thank you to all our parents who brought in items to share and those who volunteered their time to make our day special.
