How to Enroll Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Florida’s FREE pre-k program for children turning 4 years old on or before September 1 !

How to enroll in Duval County:

1. Ensure you have a working email address.

2. Log on to www.VPKDuval.org and complete the online VPK application.

3. Separately scan and submit supporting documents in PDF format.

  • One proof of current residency: driver’s license, utility bill, or paystub
  • One proof of child’s age: birth certificate, passport, or military ID (Shot records cannot be accepted)

4. Once the application and documentation is reviewed, a Certificate of Eligibility will be emailed to families within five {5) business days.

5. A list of eligible VPK providers is available online to view and download.

Begins August 14, 2017

Morning Class: 8:00am – 11:00am
Afternoon Class: 12 noon – 3:00pm

Classes begin August 14, 2017.

  • Classes are not open to 4 years old who have not yet attended VPK.
  • Your child must be 4 years old by September 1, 2017
