The latest news and information from Parks Place.
The infant room had a wonderful month of sensory experiences and laughter! Our babies have been showing us during the whole month how much they have been learning and growing. They love the circle time, music and movements, their favorite is when we read the book “Let it Fall”. With all the activities we are doing we have also seen an increase in their communication and relationship skills. We are looking forward to the month of November to be just as great!
During the month of October, we did a lot of pumpkin themed activities. For the first time as a Teachers, we were able to share our craving for a pumpkin with our students. We even made a scare-crow out of newspaper because many of the children had never seen one before. We also enjoyed the Field Trip to Conner’s A-Maize-Ing Acre’s, many of the students really enjoyed the Pumpkin Patch. We even let some of our students take pictures of the Teachers and the results were stunning! Seeing the children’s expressions when they got to feed the cows cookies was a wonderful experience for us and the Chaperones. We are looking forward to a great month in November!

We made hand prints and foot prints wit h paint . We also played with our sensory water box toys learning the difference between ‘sink and float’.
