Butterfly/Infant:
The infant room had a wonderful month of sensory experiences! The children have painted, colored and even tore paper. They enjoyed tummy time. The children loved the sound of the various types of paper as they made completely different sounds. As the weather has changed and the sun is not as hot the children have explored the great outdoors and taking buggy rides. A special thank you to all of our parents who helped with fall festival. You are great! Ms. Carmen

Grasshopper/Twos
The month of October was fun and exciting. We learned about the season name “Fall” and why the leaves fall to the ground. They observed the beautiful fall leaves colors like red, orange, yellow, grown, and green while they were falling to the ground. We had so
much fun trunk or treating! Ms. Emani

VPK A/B
This month was so exciting! We learned about Fall and Fire Safety. During safety week we learned about Stop, Drop, and Roll and got some hats! y. We discovered the world of comparison and we compared an Autumn tree to a Summer tree. We also compared apple
seeds to pumpkin seeds. We were able to compare shape, size, and color of the seeds! We ended the month with our Trunk-or-Treat Fall Festival. Thank you to all of our parent volunteers for your help. Ms. Butler, VPK C & Ms. Mincey, VPK A

Busy Bees/Ones
This month we are excited to learn about farm life and Thanksgiving! We have lots of festive sensory activities in store for this month. Last month, the children enjoyed learning about Stop, Drop, and Roll. We also learned how to say our colors and numbers in Spanish (1-10). The children enjoyed dressing up in their costumes and collecting candy. The color song Red is Rojo was very fun to sing. We’re learning that scribble is a form of writing and finding different colors leaves to bring inside. Ms. Jewel

Pawsomes/Threes
This month we talked about trees, leaves, squirrels, acorns, pumpkins, apples, fire safety, and we did LOTS of Halloween activities. We talked about the life of a tree, why leaves change colors and why squirrels like acorns. Although we were closed for a couple of weeks, once we came back, we were able to catch up on the stuff that we missed! We learned about fire safety and what to do in case of a fire. We ended things off with our fall festival and Trunk or Treat. We dressed up and played all types of games before going trunk or treating in the parking lot. Ms. Miller
